Supervision
I offer clinical supervision for both trainee and qualified counsellors, providing a safe, reflective space for professionals to process client work, explore ethical challenges, and to develop personally and professionally. I operate using the seven-eyed model, tailoring my supervision approach based on the individual I am working with; this may include, space for you to reflect, offering suitable advice and guidance relating to your client work, or support with the use of various counselling models to support a clients progress on their journey.
How it works
Although I always allow you to lead the direction of supervision, you will be able to process what you need and leave the session feeling like you have a clear, practical action plan for your client work.
Supervisees frequently share that they feel supported, whist also receiving gentle challenge to encourage growth. I can also bring a creative approach to supervision, exploring new ways of working with clients who may find ‘conventional’ talking therapies difficult. Examples of this might include ideas such as; painting, drawing, working with props such as buttons or stones, or tools like emotion cards to encourage different ways of expression.
Supervision is an opportunity for you to reflect however you want; I provide the space for you to do that with ease.
